Fr. Au’s Installation Mass – St. Joseph’s Port Moody October 27th, 2013

6 Sir Knights showed up in Regalia to honour Fr. Au’s official Installation as Pastor of St. Joseph’s in Port Moody. Celebrated by Archbishop Michael Miller, the mass was a full-house with many 3rd degree Knights from Council 9846 in attendance as well.

After the mass, which as a very interesting service that none of the Sir Knights had ever experienced before, everyone was treated to a great food and camaraderie at St. Joseph’s humble portable. The space may have been cramped, but the spirits were not!

Many thanks to Sir Knights Elemer Lazar, Eric Whalley, Larry Forseille, Zeus Custodio and Mark Pan who made up the 5-man Colour Guard. Also special thanks to Sir Knight John Keryluk, who made a special effort to serve and would have been our 6th Guard, had he not been held up by a Freight train!

Thanks too, to brothers Rommel Nocos, Patricio Arce and John Rochard – all 3rd degree Knights from home council 9846 – who marshalled the people efficiently and ensured that our Sir Knights always had space and a reserved place to sit comfortably.
